What’s an artifact?

The thing an AI makes for you that you look at instead of read.

This page is an artifact too. An AI made it, spacesheep gave it a link, and here you are.

一What it can be

Anything with a shape.

A report
A chart
A calculator
A form or poll
A slide deck
A game

If a person would draw it on a whiteboard rather than say it, it wants to be an artifact.

二The catch

Most artifacts live in a chat window. That’s a bad home.

Spacesheep takes the artifact out of the chat and gives it what a real page has.
